Dublin school of guitar are now offering there teaching expertise nationally and internationally with our online lessons option. For the past 4 decades thousands of students in Dublin have been successful in their Junior Cert; Leaving Cert; Guitar Grades/Diplomas and Degrees, while beginners found a worthwhile and stimulating hobby with the help and guidance of our teachers. €250 for 10 weekly half-hour lessons or 5 weekly hour long lessons **Depending on availability
Beginners/intermediate courses
Classical – Jazz – Folk – Blues Accompaniment – Electric Lead Guitar
Minimum length of these courses is 10 weeks and consists of 10 individual half hour lessons. These courses are designed for people who wish to get a basic command of the guitar or those who can already play and wish to develop new techniques. The lessons will be given by the same teacher each time in order to maintain a sense of continuity, and the student may suggest the subject matter as long as they are technically capable of handling it.
Certificate courses
Classical – Electric Guitar
These courses follow a set syllabus by one of the following colleges/academies: Trinity College of Music London, The Associate Board of the Royal Schools of Music, The Royal Irish Academy of Music, The London College of Music, The Victoria College of Music London.
Successful candidates receive a graded certificate from one of the above colleges, relative to the grade that they have taken. The duration of these courses vary; the candidates may work at their own pace as circumstances differ from one individual to another.
Junior/leaving certificate
Classical – Jazz – Folk – Blues Accompaniment – Electric Lead Guitar
These courses cater for the practical requirements of both examinations in guitar playing and follow the Board of Education directive.

Lessons are given during the day, in the evenings and on Saturdays 9 - 6. The D.S.G will do its upmost to find you a time that fits in with the rest of your busy schedule..

Accreditations
Studying at the D.S.G. you can follow a set syllabus by one of the following bodies: DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama – Trinity college London – The Associate Board of the Royal Schools of Music – The Royal Irish Academy of Music – The London College of Music and the R.G.T. – The Victoria College of Music London. Successful candidates receive a graded certificate from one of the above colleges. We also cater for all the major and relevant examining bodies. Also caters for Junior and Leaving Certificate.
