About The School
The Dublin School of Guitar was established in 1979. Since its inception it has become one of Ireland’s most prestigious guitar schools. The school during its time has been the home of many well-known guitarists including Gerry Leonard (David Bowie, Rufus Wainwright and Susanne Vega) Ronnie Drew (The Dubliners) and Bill Shanley (Mary Black) to name but a few.

The D.S.G's tuition fees are affordable and flexible allowing the student decide their own level of commitment on an on-going basis, so important in today's current economic climate.
The Dublin school is situated in a prime location with good transport routes and parking making it easy to get to with the minimum of fuss.
Lessons are given during the day, in the evenings and on Saturdays 9 - 6. The D.S.G will do its upmost to find you a time that fits in with the rest of your busy schedule..

Accreditations
Studying at the D.S.G. you can follow a set syllabus by one of the following bodies: Trinity college London – The Associate Board of the Royal Schools of Music – The Royal Irish Academy of Music – The London College of Music and the R.G.T. – The Victoria College of Music London. Successful candidates receive a graded certificate from one of the above colleges. We also cater for all the major and relevant examining bodies. Also caters for Junior and Leaving Certificate.
